How to personalise your jersey at Matchkings
At Matchkings you can order football jerseys (and other sports) with a name, number and, when available, a patch. We are an online fan shop — jerseys inspired by clubs and national teams, not official products licensed by the brands or clubs. This guide covers what you can personalise, how to do it on the product page, which lead times to expect and how returns change.
What you can personalise
When a product is marked as personalisable, the page shows a Customise jersey block with: name on the jersey (up to 12 characters); number; and patch (for example league, Champions or NBA). Not every item accepts personalisation. If the block is missing, that model is sold without a name or number. Before you personalise, check the size in the size guide.
3 steps on the site
- Pick the model and size — for example in Football — and read the estimated preparation time on the page.
- Fill in the name, number and patch in the Customise jersey block and check the spelling before you pay.
- Add to cart or buy now. Shipping and the total are confirmed at checkout (Stripe).
Lead times and shipping
- In stock, without personalisation, mainland Portugal: prepared and shipped within 48 hours (business days), unless the product page or checkout says otherwise. See Shipping.
- Personalised, made-to-order or pre-order items follow the product page and checkout. Many personalisable jerseys show 5–8 business days of preparation before shipping — personalisation can take longer than plain in-stock items.
- Madeira, the Azores, the EU and the rest of the world: timing and shipping costs are confirmed at checkout. Tracking appears in your account after dispatch.
Returns
Eligible, complete and unused items can be notified for return within 14 days of receipt. Items personalised to customer specifications are excluded from the withdrawal right, without affecting rights for defects, damage or a Matchkings error. Details on Returns and in the FAQ. Frequently asked questions
Can I personalise any jersey?
Only when the product page shows the Customise jersey block. If that block is missing, the model is sold without a name or number.
I got the name or number wrong?
Check the spelling before you pay. Items personalised to your specifications cannot be returned for preference or because of a mistake you made.
Does personalisation delay shipping?
Often yes. In-stock orders without personalisation to mainland Portugal are prepared and shipped within 48 hours (business days), unless the product page or checkout says otherwise. Personalised, made-to-order or pre-order items follow the product-page lead time — many personalisable jerseys show 5–8 business days of preparation before shipping.

No. These are fan and collector jerseys inspired by clubs and national teams, without an official licence from the brands or clubs.
